Our second week in Indonesia we went to Ocean Queen, located on the Indian Ocean. We left pretty early on Tuesday morning and drove for 5 hours to the other side of the island. When we arrived we went to the beach. It was the most beautiful beach I have ever seen. We walked over the beach and played volleyball wiith the boys. At night we had dinner but after that it started to rain very hard. In Ocean Queen the motto is 'back to basic' so because of this the roof was leaking. But after all I liked it because it was kind of special to be in such a little hut because then you realize that many people in Indonesia really live like that.
The next day I laid down by the pool, walked over the beach and ate fish and prawn from caught in the harbour nearby. At night we watched the sunset which was very beautiful.
Thursday it was already timr to leave. We arrived in Jakarta and unpacked our stuff and relaxed a little bit because of the long ride back.
Today, on Friday we helped at the school of the two boys. It was sportsday and we had to lead a group. In the afternoon we went to the mall and shopped a little bit. Our second week was just as special as the first week in Indonesia!

Hi Nena,
Ik lees dat jullie een geweldige tijd hebben in Java!
Dat snap ik helemaal, Indonesie heeft ook ooit mijn hart gestolen!
Leuk om te lezen over Yogjakarta, het paleis van de sultan, de Borobudur, De Prambanan. Het mooie openluchtmuseum in Jakarta.
Ik ben daar ook ooit geweest. En tijdens onze reis van Jakarta naar Bandung barstte er een vulkaan uit. Alles was mistig en overal lag vulkaanas.
Hebben jullie ook gamelanmuziek gehoord, traditionele dansen of een Wayang kulit voorstelling gezien? Dat is ook heel bijzonder!
Maar de tijd vliegt! Geniet nog maar van jullie laatste week en
veel succes met jullie werkdagen op de ambassade en een goede terugreis toegewenst.
