Our first weekend in Jakarta

Thursday we came back from our tour to Yogjakarta so we decided to have a day off. So first we slept until 12 o'clock in the afternoon. Then we swam in the swimmingpool and played with the kids. In the evening we went to the mall and had a look around.
The next day we went to a park about Indonesia. You could see all the different provinces with their kind of buildings. You could also see all the animals which live in Indonesia in a kind of zoo. In this zoo I hold a snake with which I wasn''t very comfortable. We ate traditional food and went home.
Today we went and see the National Monument called the Monas. This tower was build to celebrate indepence The building is very high and in the top you will find 36 kilos of gold. In the museum you could see the history of Indonesia. After we had seen everything and walkes around the market we had dinner. Unfortunatel the food was very spicy and after I ate a bit I could only drink because it as so spicy. We went home and as dessert we had fruit which is absolutely delicious here!
